Familiarity with cranes
In the material handling equipment industry, cranes with different capacities are used for vertical and horizontal transfer of materials, objects and constructions or constructions. Cranes are commonly used to move heavy objects and materials.
Cranes are divided into three categories:
Overhead cranes / arm cranes / gate cranes, each of which is used in a specific environment to transport its own material.
Cranes and related equipment are very diverse, and what creates this diversity depends on various characteristic factors, including the work environment, workshop (shed, open space, etc.) dimensions, The opening of the shed, the application of the crane, the type of load weight, the volume and shape of the load, the type of loading and the type of movement and energy are required.
Overhead cranes are divided into three categories:
1. Single bridge overhead crane 2. Double bridge overhead crane 3. Suspended overhead crane
- Overhead Crane is used to transport goods in silos, sheds, warehouses and industrial halls. This type of crane moves on one or two rails that are parallel in six directions. Overhead cranes are designed and manufactured in three types of single bridge, double bridge and suspension.
The jib crane is divided into three categories:
1. Column jib crane 2. Wall-mounted crane 3. Mobile wall-mounted crane
- This type of crane is designed and built in three ways and transmits objects in a circular or radius proportional to the type of crane. Arm cranes are commonly used in areas where loading is desired on the surface of a circle or part of it. These cranes are made with limited capacity, height and arm length (up to 5 tons, arm length 6 meters and height about 6 meters).
Gate cranes are divided into three categories:
1. Single bridge gate crane 2. Double bridge gate crane 3. Half gate gate crane.
- This type of crane is used outdoors and has a high height. It has a longitudinal movement and moves on the rails. Half-gate cranes are a combination of overhead and gate cranes.
