A monorail crane is a type of crane that serves as an alternative to overhead cranes and conveyor belts. These cranes are mostly used to transport materials or products in a straight or curved path. Such workshops can be a factory or a warehouse. The design of the monorail crane is simple and can be adapted to the structure of the shed without major changes. These cranes can load through the monorail beam installed under the roof of the workshops. Depending on the height of the shed roof and lifting capacity, the trolley can move under the load beam. A monorail crane is connected as a towing wire or trolley. Monorail cranes are used in places where loading is needed only in length and there is no need to transfer the load across. The four-movement lifter (longitudinal and hook) is placed under the beam connected to the ceiling and moves the load along the length. The capacity of these cranes is limited (up to 10 tons) and depends on the strength of the beam and roof. Monorail crane is used manually and electrically.
